Staff Augmentation

Staff Augmentation and Security Residency Services

In addition to our traditional security service offerings, Patriot also has a program designed specifically for organizations that need to augment their IT department on a short- or long-term basis. At Patriot we recognize that IT organizations are traditionally pulled between two opposing needs: strategic programs and day-to-day operations.
IT Managers struggle to meet the daily demands of call-center requests, new equipment installation, outages, virus protection, etc. It’s easy to understand how the more strategic aspects of IT are waylaid just to keep the network running.
Look no further than Patriot for help. Our certified engineers are able to step in and fill the gaps in your staffing—whether that is strategic policy development/oversight or daily network/department management. Areas of expertise include:

  • Network and system security
  • Policy development/enforcement
  • Solution deployment
  • Security administration
  • Firewall administration
  • Custom engagements

Patriot was contacted by a government agency that needed to enhance the capabilities of their vulnerability management program and within two weeks Patriot had qualified staff in place supporting the customer’s initiative. Through Patriot’s Staff Augmentation service, the customer was up-to-speed with a strategic and active vulnerability management program in a very short period of time—and within budget.

A large public transportation provider needed to develop a strategic security team. Patriot was able to assemble a highly qualified team to support ongoing strategic and tactical security programs including security policy development and enforcement, day-to-day incident response, and interact with operation and support teams to ensure security standards are complementing organizational productivity.

In addition to Patriot’s Staff Augmentation service, we also offer a Security Residency program. This service is offered in three general areas to cover a wide range of organizational requirements that include:

  • Interim Executive Residency ― Seasoned security leadership to manage major strategic initiatives, oversee security operations or fill critical gaps at the “C” level of an organization
  • Expert Residency ― Subject matter expertise to manage projects, supervise security teams, build policies/procedures, and perform knowledge transfer
  • Technical Residency ― Administer, maintain, monitor and/or troubleshoot security environments

Quality Program, Quality Staff

Patriot ensures the right person is selected to perform the duties needed as defined in a Statement of Work (SOW) that is mutually agreed upon before resources are assigned to a particular project. Once the SOW has been signed, Patriot will select the right individual(s) with the education, skill set and certifications necessary to perform the requirements of the project. In addition, we realize that in a long-term placement, there should be little to no personnel changes—continuity is an important factor for success.

Whether your needs are short- or long-term, strategic or operational, Patriot has the expertise to deliver.
